Three years in the making – Local Spirit: Neighborhood Bars of Orleans Parish is a photographic essay of the locals’ drinking culture of Orleans Parish. Our goal was to showcase the character
and personality of the exterior and interior of the bars in large, full-color photographs – not so

much the drinks and patrons that has been done in the past.

We strived to be all inclusive and capture the wide-ranging diversity of establishments across the Parish. Whether you are a college kid, young professional, barfly, old salty dog, black, white, gay

or straight – we are quite confident there’s something for everyone.

It was a wild adventure for three years, and hope y’all enjoy the book as much as we did creating it.
